Just caught the last day of the Singapore Fireworks Festival.
Only 10min long yet it's indescribable...
The streams of concentrated light silently streaking through the air, only to be followed by a sudden series of booms.
Of all the different types, my favourite is still the shower of stardust, wistfully falling back to earth.
"Nice" doesn't even begin to describe it.
It's simply magical.

Same here! only i am more than 5km away from the hotspot. I was at the mandarin hotel with my relatives, all of us took a lift to the top floor once we heard the fireworks. (the uncles stayed behind of course) But it wasn't the same cuz the sound and the scene were seconds apart. Plus, i think there was supposed to be some soundtrack? would have definitely gone to watch it "live", is there going to be another one next year?
Erm...what? Singapore Fireworks Festival?
How come I never heard of that? Some kinda new thing?
Anyways...we seem to be having more money each year eh....
