On our way back from the Esplanade, a Chinese National tour guide stopped us to enquire, in Mandarin, why us local grads go round taking pictures in our gowns.
My immediate retort, unintendedly belligerent in Mandarin, "Because we like it!"
Jeff claims she was taken aback, but isn't that the truth?
What can I say? Tossing our mortarboards in the air is customary classic cliché.

Every time we flip through our ever-yellowing photo albums, let's remember that we're a bunch of friends like none other. Friends that'll last a lifetime.
P.S. I actually did another round of pictures with my army friends, but it ain't the same.
