Sony is in deep trouble. If it hadn’t been obvious to you over the last year it sure is obvious now with their elevating a foreigner to CEO, Howard Stringer. Now having worked for and with Japanese companies, hiring a non-Japanese to do anything with a lot of responsibility is rare, but to run the whole company? Almost unheard of.

This is the kinda media i absolutely hate.
Yar, i admit, they WERE world leaders for such stuff and so on...and losing this edge is nothing good...but hey, the article did not mention the PS, PSP, Aibo, Some robot i saw at Sony Building(of course you cant get your hands on these), their digital camera and so on...of course they are not "killer appliances"...but should be worth a mention at least.
that said, i dunno if Sony is going down or something...they have a whole building worth of products...but i ain't buying. no money. Just dun like the article thats all. hehe.
Ok, but there IS some truth to the article outside of Japan? If Sony had some up with a MP3 killer-product or an LCD screen that made it to the reviews, or priced their stuff lower.
You'd be seeing more people carrying them around in Singapore.
What if Creative hadn't come up with their answer to the iPod line? Would they still be around? Could they have survived? Especially if Audio is their main line of business?
My question is, if Japan itself is buying into these Korean and China electrical goods?
Hmm..not all businesses rely on the end-user sector..some make do with proprietory stuff..some make do with selling chips.
Toshiba is big here. They sell almost anything. you name it, they have it. But the money also comes from things which you might never see.
Yes, that guy wrote some truth, but he only wrote half of them to support his conclusion. Read my blog? haha
okay..got nothing against anyone...just being an idiot cuz i am BORED AT WORK!!! ...zZZ
